Financial Education Workshops by EOS Poland
at SOS Wioski Dziecięce

Financial workshops for SOS Children's Villages beneficiaries were held in Kraśnik, led by EOS Poland volunteers. The meetings were practical in nature – the youth learned budgeting, using bank accounts and apps, and making conscious financial decisions.

Building Foundations for Adult Life

The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to actively support the development of local communities in line with ESG values. EOS Poland volunteers shared their knowledge and experience with young people who will eventually leave the Villages and start independent lives.

The workshops were highly practical, covering topics such as budgeting, using bank accounts and mobile banking apps—skills essential for youth who have their basic needs met but need to learn how to manage pocket money and support funds responsibly. The sessions strengthened the participants’ sense of agency, showing the consequences of impulsive decisions and the importance of planning.

At EOS, we believe social responsibility begins with education. Our claim, ‘Changing finances for the better’, applies not only to business but also to building financial awareness in society. Our values—responsibility and ethics—compel us to share our expertise. What we do in Kraśnik is not just volunteering; it’s fulfilling our mission to create a conscious and secure financial market. Financial education for young people, especially those on the threshold of independence, is an investment with the highest social return.

Valuable Contribution to Youth Independence

Both the topics and the practical nature of the workshops were appreciated by our partner.
“Financial education workshops conducted by EOS Poland proved to be a valuable opportunity for SOS Children’s Villages youth to gain practical knowledge they will need in adult life,” says Dariusz Krysiak, Director of SOS Children’s Village in Kraśnik. “The sessions helped them better understand how to make responsible financial decisions and what consequences may result from impulsive spending or unfavorable contracts. This is a solid foundation that will help them enter adulthood with confidence and make conscious use of available resources,” he adds.

Long-Term Partnership Between EOS and SOS Wioski Dziecięce

EOS Poland’s cooperation with SOS Wioski Dziecięce Association goes beyond financial education. The company also supported beneficiaries through a charity sports challenge. Dozens of EOS employees joined a multi-week challenge, converting every kilometer of running or cycling into aid for young people. Thanks to the team’s commitment, they covered over 11,000 kilometers, resulting in a PLN 25,000 donation to the Association.

Additionally, SOS Wioski Dziecięce psychologists conducted two sessions for the EOS team on key aspects of mental health, focusing on resilience and psychological first aid.

This was the second edition of EOS Poland’s workshops for youth—proof of a lasting partnership with SOS Wioski Dziecięce. The first initiative supported the Lublin Village. EOS plans to continue educational projects in 2026, reinforcing its mission to promote financial awareness and build a responsible market. It’s a long-term investment in future generations, fully aligned with the company’s claim: “Changing finances for the better.”
